I like the tempo benefits of the hit, but I don't like putting 4 back checkers 12 pips away from the next nearest point. And blue is ahead in the race. So I make the 21 point. Good defensive point that neutralizes white's outfield builders and prepares for a simple holding game to capitalize on the racing lead. White may be unable to consolidate and there are likely to still be targets next turn.
