I find this arguement rather interesting as well. Earlier this year at the Bar Point Doubles Tournament I was playing with my brother-in-law vs. Howard & Roz in the first round. Bill Davis came over as I was considering whether to double or roll on for the gammon. Bill gave me $10 for being the Club's player of the month in December. As I turned back to the game I decided in my head I was going to double but retardedly hit the clock instead. I instantly said, "Shit!!!" Howard shrugged his shoulders and was about to roll the dice. I asked him if he would allow me my turn back because of the distraction and he said no. He then stated that he wouldn't even consider asking his opponent what I just asked. I made a mistake by hitting the clock and therefore my turn is over. I don't have any hard feelings toward Howard but if the shoe was on the other foot I would have given my opponent his turn back due to the outside interuption. If there was no interuprtion I think I would have rolled on as he did. But my question is...should the interuption make a difference in making a potential ruling here?
