Pipple Count

Pipple count (Position) = 35 P1 + 40 P2 + 45 P3 + 50 P4 + 60 P5 + 70 P6 + 1.2 S + 6 Z + 17

OK, my mental arithmetic is good enough that I could actually do this OTB (if I practiced), but before I make any effort to do so, I'd need to ask some questions:

(1) Is it worth it? That is, does this Pipple counting technique improve significantly over things like Ward/Keith/Thorpe?

(2) Is there a way of converting Pipple Counts into cube actions, or into raw winning percentages (a la the Kleinman Count)?
