Slotting is playing into his strength.

Quite the opposite I think. Sticks's forward position is stripped and unflexible, aiming for an attack. By keeping anchored we counter Stick's blitz game plan.

24/23 13/9 is dangerous for our back men and half baked up front. 13/9 6/5 is quite clear to me. The score can only support this decision.
