In Response To: Bot Comparison after 60/500 games. (Timothy Chow)

There has been discussions for soem time aboout retraining GnuBG neural net, it happened previously in 2006 I think.

What I think XG and Gnugb suffer from is thinking inside the box. The question is, is there soemthing beyond traditional neural nets as we currently use them that can really advance the way we think of this game. I have often been curious to see what Z-Bot could have brought to the table had it ever been released.
