Regardless of the outcome of this very interesting challenge, in actual chouette play, MCG is probably the only player who has ever played in our chouette who has considered the possible affect of this rule on the preceding move. MCG is also smart enough to know that the faster he plays and the more games played the more he is likely to win. Any player smart enough to be able to figure out the play advantage gained by this rule is probably also smart enough to realize this as well.
