French Open update

My experience indicates that when ever I've done something like this..ie given up the much equity due to supposed time pressures my opp is experiencing, that I have deserved to lose the match. .. ie trying to take advantage of the opp's time troubles when using a Bronstein clock hasn't worked well for me at all.
What was the doubles time control? I presume it was longer than the ABT 2/12 used for singles. If that is the case, and you won a couple of games from 12 away Crawford, and their time did get close to 1 minute, they'd really not be giving up much match equity if one of them just played while the other one watched.
Another point is that if you take and win the 8 cube, you have both of them shocked and doubting their decision to recube as now the match is close and they could still run into time issues and if they have to rush plays they will be now giving up more ME. Of course this only matters the 9% of the time you win, but being down 12 away Crawford is bleak to put it mildly.
With all due respect, I think you guys made an error in passing.
