Neil:

I thought so, as I recall noticing quite a few backgame plays were being rolled out. This session should provide an interesting comparison between the bots.

I'll be rolling out the follow on positions for all dice rolls across multi bots to:

A: Educate myself with regards to backgames
B: Try to get some idea which bot plays these types of positions best which in turn might give some clues which bot to trust more with the rollouts.

Of the 21 follow up rolls here's how many unique plays each bot has:

XG: 17!
BG: 5
S4: 5
GN: 4

So I'm deducing XG knows something the other bots don't or is getting it very wrong. There's been some interesting results from the rollouts. Stay tuned whilst I work my way through them. I'll be posting them as problems when I'm done and tallying the error rates.
