The good thing with j.s.d. in my opinion is that when I stop rollouts for three moves and saw how one candidate reach 3.0 for example j.s.d. I can stop further rollout for this move and can continue with two others and on that way I can save CPU time. Also, when I continue with rollout for last two moves I can stop it when saw how second best move will reach j.s.d. 3.0 and save CPU time Of course it is possible only when rollouts are doing in parallel what is feature which you will implement in next release, thank you for that.
I don't know which kind of measure you will implement among all and which is most correct but as a bot user I want to know the best move as soon as possible. When one play are not candidate for best play among others, such rollout should be stoped for this move(if it can be put as parameter at the begining and automated, excellent). As I understand you, XG will rollout all candidates from the begining to the end until you get 99% (for example) that value (equity) for best move will not change and others move can't be better that best move also with 99%.
Am I right? It will be no possible to stop rollout of particular candidate? I think j.s.d. is nice bcuz of that feature. We can start 10 moves and stop one by one candidate and leave only those which are serious candidates. Can you implement something like that?
