2 ply on GNU, 3 ply on Snowie, and xgRoller on ExtremeGammon. Why? Because it doesn't take much longer to get the answer than the lower plys and it is clearly more likely to give a better answer. Even if you are a complete beginner, why settle for a mediocre answer when you can get a better one?
