In Response To: Hickey vs. Fetterlein, Second Round (I think), Position 1 (Bill Riles)

OTB I knew 1234 v 112 was a take for money so this is obviously a very easy take . I knew 112 v 25 is a close redouble for money and with a take point of about 25% on the recube, would be slightly worse since I don't get to recube to 8. If I miss on roll 1 I will pass the redouble in a 2 roll position (86:14).

OTB I thought that since Mary doesn't get in an efficient recube close to the 25% drop point that I should recube. Inexplicably I never looked at my rolling 21 which gives her the best recube vig.

I did a Snowie rollout (2192 games, cubeful, cube 3 ply) which shows no double is correct by 18 millipoints and I need 2% wrong passes to justify it.

When I told Mary the results she said there was no way she'd be passing but was too polite to say what she was probably thinking, that a pass was about as likely as USA rejoining the British Empire.
