Like Phil, I too love my iPhone. I also dont play BG on it. Its just not a good way to play.

I personally find it to be a great tool for checking information, emails etc. I find it surprising how much I use it. There are many many things you can do with it. Speak to people that have one, ask them what they use it for. Also, quite noteworthy, there are some clever jailbreak type things you can do with it to combine it with other services, such as googletalk, or if you have a good phone service, you can do redirect dialling (calling from your 'homephone'). Lots of cool stuff. I dont take advantage of this stuff, mine is paid for by work, so my reasons for liking it are going to be different from others.

So, if you are only considering BG stuff, then reading the forums on the browser is OK. Playing isnt really practical.
