Maybe I am biased but many players don't want to get up to play at 9 am, and especially something that leads to serious money and that gorgous trophy !

I'd not want to play at 9, even if I was staying at the hotel. Noting that Satuday can be a very long day in the main at most ABT's and your's is no exception.

Playing the semis at 11PM Friday is OK, provided rounds 1 and 2 have been clock mandatory so as to make sure rd 3 can start at 11 or earlier if both players are available.

Or schedule the semis for noon Sunday and, once again clock it. There's a decent likelyhood of a conflict with last chance, but how critical is that and how long would said conflict last in general?

Anyhow..I prefer the play 3 clocked 11 pt matches starting at 7 PM Friday idea and note that this is what is done at some other ABT's including LA for those starting at 7 PM, they play 3 clocked matches.

Anyhow..please sign me up for the Championship only ! .. neilkaz ..
