You need to review basic concepts of probability, Rich. Over the last several years, Ray has used up so many 2-6's from the bar that all the other rolls are now owed bigtime. After they catch up, 2-6's from the bar will be allowed again. That's the "law of averages"!

Many of my favorite backgammon expressions can be found at the end of each of my "Chouette and More" column series at GammonVillage. A couple I like for consulting chouette are "Whenever possible, have a second choice" and "Save your political capital for the plays that matter."
