65R 21$ 53P 21N 21?

A simple but useful reference position (rolled out in 2005 on Snowie, 7776-trial full-precise) is 65R-65R-21: Three plays, $ (Slot 13/11 6/5), D (Down 13/10) and S (Split 24/23 13/11) are essentially tied, and U (Up 24/21) is wrong.
Let's compare your position (65R-21$-53P-21N-21) to my reference position (65R-65R-21):
1) S slightly improves on D because there is better 64 duplication (triplication).
2) S greatly improves on $ because the 6pt stack has already been reduced from five to four checkers.
3) S improves on D and $ (as well as U, which is already wrong) because opp's board with the 5pt is stronger than yours with the 3pt.
4) Opp's second checker back means getting hit is more costly, which compared to S makes D a little worse and $ significantly worse.Hence, S (i.e., 24/23 13/11) looks clear to me, with D a tolerable second choice, and U and $ being very wrong.
What about 65R-65R-53P-43D-21? [I don't know how to post positions yet or I'd supply a diagram.] If you play D or $, you duplicate more numbers than in Neil's position, and opp has no 5pt. Do you play S, D or $ -- anyone?
