The solution to cube actions?

If you were asking about how cube decisions should be handled: I think we can start with the assumption that most all of us here are playing the OLM to try to improve our bg and to have a enjoyable experience much more than we are trying to win the OLM. Given that assumption, I think Kit's OLM procedure works pretty well. Here where we vote by posts, we can vote for both the cube decision and the checker play in our post. If the majority vote to double, then re-roll. If someone doesn't mention the cube in his/her post, just assume s/he is not doubling. I hope most all of us will try not to take the roll into account when deciding on our cube decision.
This looks like the most sensible approach, and the one I'll go with. For instance, today is obviously a no double, and nobody mentioned the cube, so I just assume it's a unanimous no double vote.
Any problems with this?
