Sure, but my point is, you already know what the roll will be if you vote to not double. Even if we stipulate that everyone will be honest about this, it's difficult to put that knowledge out of your mind altogether.

On the other hand, obviously we don't want to waste a bunch of days doing nothing but voting ND.

My suggestion would be that on days when there is a plausible cube decision, Jason could post two threads, one for the cube and one for the checker play. The checker play thread could even say "vote on cube first." I'm sure we can trust everyone not to peek at the roll - that's not really the problem I'm concerned about. Does this idea make sense?
