Note that if Blue stay backs, 55 also leaves a blot (played correctly). So the comparison is versus 39/1296 versus 33/1296.

That is, staying back on the 20pt does indeed generate more immediate shots, but the difference is 6 instead of 11.

I'm curious if I was right that not saving a 6 with 20/17(2) 9/6 7/4 is better than 20/17(2) 7/1 -- for some reason the latter was included in both rollouts but not the former. (It's academic, of course, since neither is best.)
