I find it hard to argue against gaining 20% equity by a wrong double/wrong drop vs. gaining 10% by a right doulble/wrong drop or right double/take. What am I missing (aside from brains)?
This math only works if he ALWAYS passes. He won't, of course.

It's not *always*. It's just often enough. If I risk 10 to gain 20, he only has to pass 1 time in 3 for me to break even. Where the hell does this ALWAYS nonsense come from? I can be wrong more often than I'm right and still gain overall......always.....really....? Even if you change the numbers so that I'm risking 20 to gain 10, or risking 50 to gain 10, it's still not always...
