It was at the last World Cup held in Dallas..way back in 1998...The match was not recorded. I had a very interesting decision where I could pass and be way behind with 14% ME or take and rewhip and have 14% ME.

What I find awe-inspiring is the ability of top players to recall in hallucinogenic detail the particulars of a play they made decades ago. I'm still trying to figure out what I had for lunch yesterday, so it doesn't surprise me that my personal store of memorized reference positions is somewhat meager.

Do you guys have an eidetic memory for backgammon boards and the details of match equity? Where do I my buy me some of that talent?
