1) for an interesting interview. I always am curious to find out things about backgammon personalities outside of the game itself. BG players are people, too.

I agree. Another reason I like reading about that stuff is that I rarely ask people questions about their personal lives, but I still want to know. It's sad, but I do not know the occupations or hometowns of many of my BG opponents... I just don't ask. =(
