Jason writes: "To avoid promulgating the idea that a short number of trials is, in general, sufficient, I advocate ALWAYS rolling out to a minimum 1296 trials -- when publishing an article."

That I can agree with. But as Rich and Bob said, 108 trials is more than enough for some decisions, when one play is clearly right.
