DMP -- no going back

Slotting the back of the prime looks like the typical pure DMP play. The problem is that it is a slot with minimal potential to get covered or held if covered since white really needs to escape and is stripped. And the 6 that will be useful to hit 9/3* next turn is duplicated since we want to use 6s to escape. So the only thing really going for this play is that it keeps the 5-prime while giving aces to hit and 6s to escape, and not much in the way of improving prospects down the road.
Hitting on the other hand threatens minimizes escape potential, leaves fewer immediate shots and if missed, remakes the 5-prime with 6s. And white dances 25% of the time which is pretty huge.
Overall, 7/3* seems like the play that stands to work out best when things go well, without sacrificing very much on the down side.
7/3*
