Thanks for the mention, Rich. I'm guessing that most of the work in Jason's simulation will be getting the mechanics of the Swiss tournament right, so there is not too much in common with my DE simulation. That being said, I'm happy to help out in any way I can.

For my simulation I tried both evenly distributed ratings and normally distributed and got basically the same result.
