White doesn't seem to be leaving a shot next roll since XG's small numbers play comfortably in the home board and big numbers bring the spare in. Only reason for staying is to get one more chance to roll doubles, but we'll hurt ourselves in the race by playing 6/2 6/1. I think we just have to go for it and leave the 17 shots. If missed we may have a double.
