I absolutely agree that not only the conclusion, but also the methods used are important while trying to solve a problem. But for ME (as I already wrote), I think I learn much more if the reasons and arguments support a clearly superior move over another one.

If you can understand how not to make .016 errors you can also understand how not to make .160 errors.

The converse does not follow.
