Someone once did a variance reduction with gnubg luck analysis on all the matches. I used the results to compute Elo performance ratings for the bots. That happened in the gammonline/gammonU forum and, unfortunately, seems to be lost. I cannot find a local copy of any parts of the discussion on my computers either. I do remember that the ranking of the bots was, statistically significantly, gnubg > Snowie > BgBlitz > Jellyfish. I also remember that I was surprised at how highly transitive the results were, i.e. how well the v.r. result of each pairing matched the predictions of the Elo formula given the total performance rating of the bots in question.
