3 pt match...time for an Atlanta Double?

In Response To: 3 pt match...time for an Atlanta Double? (neilkaz)

When I roll double 6s and my opponent has managed to make neither a new offensive nor defensive point nor even slotted his 5pt (as here), I generally like to double at 0-0 or trailing in a 3- or 4-point match (unless said opponent is considerably weaker and/or a late taker).

The most likely way to reach such a position is when Opp opens with 64S, 63S or 62S, I roll 66, and he enters with an airball (or fans with 66).

How did your Atlanta position arise? The sequence looks unorthodox.
