It's nice to see experts agree (with me). As someone (Tim?) noted, making the prime does not guarantee that opponent's game collapses. But not making the prime, it seems to me, nearly guarantees that it won't.

Let me add that while gnubg 2-ply seems horrendous, 3-ply agrees with the experts on checker play. But I would not trust gnubg's cube handling either way, since the bot oscillates from 2-ply's far from a double to 3-ply's "too good."
