Clocks are introduced with the purpose of making sure that people play fast.

Disagree.

Rich: Am I willing to go through the time and effort and disruption to do it myself - no way. And in general, I think it is a waste of everyone else's time and focus too, unless you are retired and transcribing match videos provides a good way to fill your day.

If you ask Mochy or Michy or myself I think we'll tell you it's not a disruption. Initially you have to get used to it and get your rhythm down but now it's just part of the game. I guess I'm retired and it is a nice way to fill my day. :)

Playing online isn't the same as playing live no matter how serious you take it or how much you try to make it like playing live.
