Question about 4 ply XG cube rollouts

Thank you for your response.

So, do I understand correctly, when doing a 4 ply evaluation, the computer compares:

1. the position with the cube unturned 3 rolls later

2. the position with the cube turned and owned by opponent 3 rolls later

thereby ignoring (for example) the possibility of (double / pass) 2 rolls later?
