A note about the equities in the database. I didn't use many trials in the rollouts (36, I think), so the random error could be high in some positions. (I didn't worry too much about random error because I figured, as long as there were lots of positions, the errors would cancel out.)

This caution applies only to positions where either side has checkers beyond the six-point. Positions with all checkers home were compared with a computed bearoff database and should be accurate.
