I agree with John and Chuck that lifting is best, even at DMP. (GG is the only score at which I would consider leaving the 5pt blot there -- and I'm not sure I would even then.)

The 10 extra hits (including 54 that hits two checkers instead of one) are catastrophic compared to what you gain when you don't get hit. You're just a 6 from getting away, and you might roll that 6 even after White enters, and if not you can hit again and try winning that way.
