Thanks Michael: I'll try posting on the GNU forum.

It's good to see that Janowski is still honing his calculations and there's much work to be done. With all the modern bots operating at approximately the same general skill level, I had sorta assumed we'd reached a virtual summit of playing strength (and that only the speed of rollouts would radically improve in future). But taking a peek behind the wizard's screen, it seems enormous improvements are still quite possible. Which is exciting.
