What's the deal, you just happen to know that 100/47 ≈ 2.13?

Here is what I did (basically what they teach you in grade school, except in my head):

47 x 2 = 94 (I just did this a second ago)
47 x 1 = 47
47 x .1 = 4.7
94 + 4.7 = 98.7
98.7 + ~1.5 = 100
47 x ~3 = 150
47 x 2.13 ~= 100
