Here's how I do this stuff in my head sometimes...

2 x 47 = 94 so 6 is remainder.

8 x 6 = 48 so 1/8 looks close but 47 is less than 48 so round .125 up.

2.13 should be close enough for government work (as we used to say when I worked in the defence industry).
