The 5 is a gift. Just come out.

For the ace, I like 10/9 a lot. If White doesn't hit or roll double 5s, Blue should double and it even looks like a cash to me (unless White has run with 53 or maybe 54). If White rolls a 6, too bad, but Blue might hit back and in any case his board is stronger than White's.

After 2/1, Blue has a hard time getting to a decent cube because of his inside blots and he's not even ahead in the race. By contrast, after 10/9, the threat of making the 9pt makes White shiver in her boots. 10/9 is definitely not the play I would want to see if I were White.
