I think you need to improve your chances of making an advanced anchor or escaping one of your back men so I'd try 24/20 13/11. You're still down 4 pips in the race after this play which usually in a prime v prime position means you have more timing and should therefore keep your anchor intact and concentrate on lengthening your prime. Here that would indicate 13/7 or 13/9 13/11. I don't think this general rule applies here since you've got more men back and thus less timing available from your 13 non-backmen than Black does with his 14.
20 & 11 isn't the only way to split of course. You could try 22 & 9 or the double split 20 & 22. Regarding 22 & 9, the 20-point's a better anchor than the 22 and a builder on the 11 gives more coverage than one on the 9. The double split's a very good alternative. If one gets pointed on, you might be able to anchor on the other or you might be able to enter and hit back. OTOH, point and fan is pretty bad.
I'll go with 20 & 11 with the double split a close 2nd.
