I don't need to extend after seeing this analysis along with Paul's post. My primary purpose was understanding the differences between the 24-23 split and the 24-22 split. Among other things, I'm trying to build an understanding of the 22 pt vs 9 pt contact which arises frequently. To do so, I needed to have a feel for how much the floating ace detracted from the 24-23 split's value to make the comparison valid. I had guessed .003 to .005 which is clearly an understatment.
