Who is the favorite to be the #1 BG Giant?

I didn't say Mochy/Sander/Falafel were necessary my first choice for the #1 Giant only who would win the popular vote.
Both Nack & Neil are among the best in the world. One of the inherent problems when trying to make a list like this ... how do you really know who is better than someone else? Results is such a piss poor way to go when judging bg expertise. Sure, it helps to have results and any great player will accumulate their fair share of accolades over time but in a short time frame, like 2 years for example, they are near meaningless. (esp. for players who don't get out all that often to play tournaments)
In my ideal world and on my list of things to do I'd create a test to hand out to all players who wanted to participate. This test would be long as fuck, taken perhaps over multiple sittings, and always in front of a monitor. (it may even be clocked!) It would try to cover as much of backgammon as it could but the scope of the test itself is limited in relation to live OtB backgammon. Still, if such a test were created it would be a great aid to narrow down who is or isn't the best and give insights to some players where their weaknesses lie.
Back to N&N. I think I've said it before and people (esp. Europeans) thought me off my rocker when I said Nack may have the most comprehensive understanding of all things bg of anyone in the world. This refers not only to "Nack, how do you play a 32 here?" but things I know some of the best players in the world wouldn't be able to answer. This information isn't necessarily necessary to make one a great player but it's still nice to have that sort of understanding. A couple of those same people were impressed to say the least when Nack started posting here regularly.
As for Neil, you said it. His match play understanding is top notch and you see the work he puts in regularly here on the forums. He has kept up with the times unlike some Giants who aren't exactly lazy...but if you're still using Snowie as your one and only bot I will mentally scoff in your general direction. I feel like I have less that I need to say about Neil than Nack because Neil is out there in the public eye a lot more than Nack is. He's been posting here a lot longer too so your perception of him is probably accurate. His long term results are unparalleled. (only because I've only been playing ~4years)
I'll let others kiss their asses now, that's enough brown nosing on my part.
