Reminds me of the Bad News Bears go to the Astrodome movie. I think the first sequel. They were playing between games of an Astros doubleheader against the Texas champs. The alloted time ran out and the umps called the game off. The Bears coach runs out arguing. The umps threaten to throw him out but he says how can you throw me out if the game is over and the ump says something like exactly. The coach goes on top of the bullpen and starts yelling let them play. His kid on the team who was recently unestranged joins him. The other kids join in also and Astros first baseman Bob Watson wonders what is going on and then joins in also. Soon the stadium is all in on the chant and the game is allowed to continue. The fans root for the California team instead of the Texas team and the Bears win. I think they get to then play in Japan in the next movie and Bill Riles posted that the Texas's team loss should have an asterisk.
