The umps threaten to throw him out but he says how can you throw me out if the game is over and the ump says something like exactly.

In MLB, you can get ejected after the game, and it has SOME meaning, since an ejection carries with it an automatic fine. I've seen ejections both before and after a game, and I've seen players on the disabled list get ejected. Also, if you get ejected in the first game of a doubleheader, you can play/manage in the second game.

Ejections are an underrated, extremely humorous part of baseball. I still remember fondly the time I got ejected from a slow-pitch softball game.
