Sorry, Stick I cannot find that thread. I only posted here once, but I lost this thread.

I remember talking to robertie (and others I don't remember)about 10 years ago and he said the same. He didnt like clocks. He liked, as many other, rolling the dice.

Nobody liked clocks for so many years (in chess too) but one can't imagine a seriuos chess game even in the NY (or Sofia) park without a clock. Same will be with backgammon.

One cannot reasonably keep a game record by hand. Sounds at least somewhat crazy when we have the means.

I think it is very feasible to make a game recording pad, including a clock and digital dice. As people liked clocks when they used them so will they like the experience of a new tool. And It will be useful for tourneys, head to head and shou.
