In Response To: Critical and scorebased recube decision (neilkaz)

OTB I was White and Paul Weaver was Black. He'd had a checker on the bar and I'd been playing for a gammon but he entered with a nice 21 and made my 2 pt.

The RO'ed Supremeo MET (patience friends) says that Paul has 19.5% ME if he passes which I felt was a good figure for his chances here. The 2 pt game may not time so well, and his 3 checkers on his 2 pt are not at all good for him. However I have some break numbers that aren't good for me.

I had no idea whether he'd take or pass, but noting that he can decide whether to recube to 8 or not, I was leaning a bit towards this being a take. I felt my recube was a must since I felt I'd usually lose my market (assuming it wasn't allready lose) if I was able to hop out this roll (assuming no 54)

After a couple minutes of thought Paul passed, and these would be my last points of this late night match.
