Malcolm didn't double me at 2away/2away in the Semis of Charlotte in 2005 and almost won a gammon. There is no question, and Malcolm will agree, that he had a technical double on several occasions.

I won't speak for Malcolm, but perhaps he felt that playing a superior player he is better off straying from the bot strategy. Or perhaps he felt that the fear I was feeling that the cube might be coming every roll might distract me from playing well. (This ploy did not work, as I played well under 13.0 and I always wear dark pants so people can't detect my fear.)
