In Response To: Speed Backgammon Time Controls (Mike Main)

It is well known that I think some of this game's normal rules and procedures are absolute idoicy.

I feel that our cocked dice and split board rules are as idiotic as the Jacoby Rule for money play.

But anyhow, my point is to mention that I played a couple speed gammons events about 15 years ago using analog clocks and I recall that dice rolled on top of checkers or bouncing onto the other side counted as good rolls.
