But only of you're American. Stciks original wording is perfectly natural to me. 'Gotten' always raises a an eyebrow, and strikes ma as an archaic usage. On the other hand, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" sounds like an American saying; in England the normal usage is 'broken'. Go figure (as they say over your side of the pond).
