OTB, I felt that my strong board allowed me to play boldly, and I wanted to escape the back checker. Therefore I played bar/20 13/10.

The rollout indicatest that this play is even worse than the anti-thematic bar/20 4/1. Evidently, there are limits to the boldness that you're entitled to even when you outboard your opponent 5 to 2. Strengthen White's front position by lifting White's blot to White's 4-point, and according to GNU 4-ply, even bar/22 13/8 is too bold, and bar/20 4/1 comes out on top.
