Yes, congrats to Shino.

As an aside, does anyone know if the very serious allegations against PJT -- discussed in detail on this forum, apparently brought forward by some of the most esteemed names in backgammon, and 'substantiated' by a colleague -- ever investigated, discussed, or resolved? Or were they just swept under the rug with the passage of time and he allowed to play anyway? If this was the case, then shame on the organizers of the WSOB.

I don't know him from Adam -- so I have no axe to grind -- and he obviously is a very good player; however, I think it would have been most unfortunate for the backgammon community (right, Carter?) for him to win the WSOB title if such allegations are true or even if they remain unaddressed and unresolved.
