In Response To: More data to support making the 2 pt with opening 64 (Timothy Chow)

I hope I didn't overstate things. My conclusion was simply "I find this interesting," in that maybe I was wrong to assume all along that 24/18 13/9 was the best gammon-avoiding play. But it's still a big maybe. If I saw someone play 24/18 13/9 to avoid gammons, I certainly wouldn't say "hey, based on this long rollout, you're probably wrong." The fact that there's apparently very little difference is itself noteworthy.
